Yeareen Yun
Masters in Public Administration
Yeareen is a first year MPA fellow concentrating in International Development. She has a diverse work experience in both public and private sectors, ranging from finance, education, and nonprofit. She is a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. Yeareen has lived and worked in the United States, Kenya, Korea, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Yeareen received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.
Yamatha Saint Germain
Masters in Professional Studies – International Development
Yamatha has lived in Haiti and Madagascar where she served with the US Peace Corps. While in Madagascar, she worked with household farmers, beekeepers, and silk weavers by providing technical agricultural trainings as well as basic business skills. Upon completion of her degree, she hopes to work for a development organization that focuses on providing agricultural aid and trainings to farmers in marginalized places. She speaks English, French, Haitian Creole, and Malagasy.
Enkhzul (Zula) Altangerel
Masters in Public Administration
Zula is a first year MPA fellow, concentrating in the area of social policy and non-profit management. She majored in International Relations in her undergraduate studies in Turkey. She has three years of experience in working for non-profit organizations, mainly on children’s rights issues. Zula worked as communication officer at World Vision and UNICEF in her home country of Mongolia, responsible for writing news and stories, photography, and managing social media and website. Her research interests include poverty reduction, human development, child poverty and its broader implications for international development issues. She enjoys long distance running and art house films.
Stephanie Coker
Masters in Public Administration
Stephanie is a second year MPA fellow concentrating in the area of Economic and Financial Policy. She is interested in the implementation and impact evaluation of social enterprises and economic development projects. Prior to Cornell, Stephanie served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Habitat for Humanity. Currently, Stephanie is a member of the American Evaluation Association’s 2016-2017 cohort of the Graduate Education Diversity Internship (GEDI) program. As part of the program, Stephanie is part of the evaluation team at TCC Group, a New York management consulting firm. She brings her survey research expertise, mixed methods analytical skills and consulting experience to the Ikirezi Project. She is also a classically trained opera singer and enjoys cooking.
Brettany Tucker
Masters in Public Administration
Brettany is a first year MPA fellow concentrating in Economic and Financial Policy. As a past Fulbright Scholar, she taught English at la Universidad Libre in Colombia and complemented this by carrying out informal research around the country, in which she correlated levels of income to happiness levels of Colombians. Brettany has a B.A. in Economics from Florida International University and is a self proclaimed in-line skating champion who’s bilingual in Spanish, speaks intermediate French—and enjoys all visual art, cooking and reading.
